Nars | Sheer Glow Foundation

Hi Guys,

So as you can tell by the title of this post I have recently purchased the famous sheer glow foundation by Nars. There are possibly hundreds of glowing reviews on the internet about this foundation, and sadly this IS going to be yet another glowing review. Because this foundation is faultless, it was love at fist touch!
(£31)

.................

This foundation has shot to the top of my favourite foundations list, and I honestly cant believe how long I have actually gone without this beautiful product in my life. it just apples/blends to perfectly, its like a heaven, for your face!
I'll insert a few photos of what it looks like on.

It last a hell of a long time, practically a whole day, it also leave a gorgeous finish. I wouldn't say it was completely matte finish, there is defiantly an element of glowieness to it (obviously).
Its build-able, which is means it is multi-purpose foundation - it can be used for the days where you just want a little bit of coverage or for the days where you need a fuller coverage.
I have only been using this a couple of weeks and already I would recommend it to all human beings!
Even though it is up there with some of the pricier foundations, I think it is worth every penny, and I am defiantly going to be re purchasing this for years to come.

Small Mac Haul | 2015

Hi Guys,

As you can tell from the title of this post, I have a little mac haul for you guys. Now I should probably say that I didn't buy all of this in one shop, this has been spread out over a few weeks worth of shopping. and two of the items were given to me as a present from my Auntie in America, these items will have a (*) next to them.

so lets get on with the haul...

..........

 .............

First up is a standard pressed powder, now I have wanted a powder from Mac for a while because I have heard so much about them. And I find that most of the high-street pressed powders smash so easily. I though I'd give one a go. So far it is going good and I am really happy with it.

Blot Powder/Pressed
Light
£20.50
.............

Next is a highlighter, Mac highlighters get raved about so much within the beauty world. and this one defiantly lives up to the standard. it is the most gorgeous highlighter I have ever applied to my face. it looks so natural.

(*)
Mineralized Skin Finish
Lighscapade
£23
..................

The famous Mac lipstick. No Mac haul would be complete without a mac lipstick of some sort. And this one is no exception. as I've said in a previous post, mac lipsticks are addictive and no make-up addicts collection would be complete without a hand full of these little black beautys.

The first one is a red/nude colour called crème in your coffee, it is a creamsheen. Its is absolutely stunning! I actually got recommended this by a former teacher of mine (Hi Mrs Page!).

 (*)

The second one is a cute girly pink colour called please me, and its a matte finish. Its is going to be a prefect shade of this summer.

£15.50
............

Again this is something I've heard a lot about, this is suppose to be the ultimate Concealer, and a high-end dupe for the collection concealer. Now let me tell you, this is a holy grail concealer to me now! I wont apply my make-up without it any more.

Pro Longwear Concealer
NW15
£17
...............

Next up is a good old dark pink blush, its not the traditional pink girly blush most people would buy. but I just wanted to try something new, and like most things I buy from Mac I feel in love with this the first time I used it.

Powder Blush
Margin
£18
.............

So a few months ago I started a Mac Pro Palette, and occasionally I will buy an eye-shadow for the palette, so that it gradually fills up. This bronzie colour is prefect for the eyelid crease if you want a natural/nude eyes.

Eye-shadow/pro Palette Refill Pan
Arena
£10
.................

Last but not lease, over the past few months I think, Mac have been giving away small samples of the False Lash Extreme Black Mascara with ever purchase. So as you can imagine I have accumulated quite a few over the past few weeks. Now I'm not into the whole High end mascara stuff because I still say a mascara is a mascara whether its high end or not. But I have to say this one is particularly good. So once I've finished with my heap of samples I may just purchased the full sized mascara.

..............

Beauty Scenario Tag!

Hi Guys,
I have been super busy these past couple of weeks, so haven't had much time to write a proper post. But as I didn't want to forget about you guys I thought I'd squeeze in a short but sweet tag post. It should be back to normal next week, sorry!

You have to get rid of all your foundations and only keep one high-end and one drug-store, which do you keep?
Drug-store has to be the Revlon colour stay!
High-end has to be Nars sheer glow

You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
I would tell her (at an appropriate moment of course). Because I would want someone to tell me if the rolls were reversed.

You’re not feeling yourself and you need a pick me up lipstick, which one do you go for?
Any Mac lipstick, there is so many of them, there such good quality and they are very addictive!

You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and make-up differently?
I would try and be as natural as possible, minimal make-up and natural hair. I started wearing heavy make-up too soon. Now I'm reliant upon it, I wont leave the house without a full face of make-up.

You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut but they hear you wrong and give you a pixie hair cut. Do you...
 a) smile, say thank you, leave, call your mum and cry hysterically
b) cry in the chair and things get awkward or
c) complain to the manager and demand a refund.

Your house has been robbed, don’t worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What’s the product you really hope is safe?
Nars Foundation or Chanel Lipstick.

Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you...
 a) just pretend you haven’t noticed
 b) ask them to repurchase it or
c) secretly do the same to something of theirs

Hope you enjoyed it!

Lush Haul | Spring 2015

Hi Guys,

So a couple of days ago I went on a little shopping trip and end up in one of my all time favourite shops, lush! I figured as I was running low on my collection of bath bombs I may as well stock up, so I did and I though I would do a small lush haul for you guys.
I know the shop can be a little  intimidating (if you've never been in there before) with all the smells and colours. Believe it or not I know a couple of people who cant stand the smell of the shop, but I guess its just personal preference.
I thought a little haul of some for this season, would be helpful for some of you who are new to the idea of lush or just cant make up up their minds.
Just a side note, the lush I went to hasn't that big, so they didn't have all the favourites, but form the collection they did have I picked what look like the best ones.
So lets get started!

.............

So the first one is called space girl. I have used this one before and if I remember correctly, has quite a sweet fruity smell. It also turns your bath a beautiful deep purple colour with flecks of glitter and popping candy.
Space girl - Bath bomb
Feel out of this World
 .............

This one is definitely the cutest bomb lush do, its the ickle baby bot. I think it is aimed at little children, but I don't care because it is so prefect for a time when you just want to relax because it is lavender scented.
Ickle Baby Bot  Bath bomb
Sleepy time Soother
 .............

I am yet to try the sakura bomb yet, but it looks pretty cool with and the different colours in it. It looks and smells like a spring bath bomb, and I cant wait to try it!
Sakura - Bath bomb
Blooming lovely
 .............

This one I have tried many times, it is so cute and small and prefect for those days where your feeling extra girly, because it turns your bath water a gorgeous pink colour. The think pink bomb also has small heart shaped paper confetti in side, which just gives it that extra special touch.
Think Pink - Bath bomb
Feel Pretty in Pink
 .............

This has to be one of my all time favourites from this season, its the twilight bomb.
It if full of essential oils which helps you to relax after a long, hard day of shopping, (or work which ever you prefer). And like most lush bombs, has flexs of glitter inside.
Twilight - Bath bomb
Let the sun set on worries
 .............

Last but not least, this isn't actually a bath bomb its a bubble bar. A bubble bar is designed to be crumbled under the running water so that it creates colours as well as bubbles. I haven't tried the brightside bumble bar, but from the citrusy smell of it, I can tell it will be a good one for the mornings to wake you up.
Brightside- Bubble bar
Bright Bathing
.............
So as I mentioned in the start the one I went to didn't have all of the favourites, But one I am yet to find in any shops I have been to is the new frozen lush bombs they look pretty amazing!
So please comment below if you know where to get them form!

Thanks for reading!

May Favourites | 2015

Hi Guys,
So its that time of the month again, where I share with you guys what products I have been in love with through this month.
And for those of you who are still doing exams or just about to start some, Good Luck, you'll do amazingly!

So this first one is a bit odd to be in a favourites post, but its the cover song that Gabby (VelvetGhost) and Hobbie Stuart did of Love me like you do. Its is such a heart melting song as it is, but when them two cover it its becomes even more perfect.
Go check it out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eExLxoXB1rE

Next is another non beauty related favourite, and it is Game of Thrones, now I have only just started this series and I am already hooked on it. I have heard endless good reviews of it so I figured I should probably go and give it a watch. However I think I am probably the only person that hasn't illegally downloaded it to watch it, ha.
If any of you were wondering I am watching through Amazons Love Films service.
I am still on the first series so please no spoilers.

So as it has been exam month for me, I have gotten through a whole heap of lush bombs because I find that they really help me to relax in the evenings.

Now on to an actual beauty product, as it has been getting slightly hotter here in England recently I figured I needed to mix my blushes up a bit and I have re-discovered my very first Mac product. my Mac blush in Rosy Outlook. It is a perfectly pretty pink blush, that Ii am in love with at the moment.

Next up is another mac product, and its a lipstick in the colour So Chaud (bright red/orange colour). Its such a summery colour, and has got me exited for the summer holidays.

This next one is has been essential through this month as I have spent pretty much every waking hour sat in-front of a text book or revision guide. I put in very little effort in my appearance for exams, so dry shampoo has been a life saver, because lets face it no-one likes to have greasy hair and one one likes to look at greasy hair. I would defiantly recommend this particular one, it isn't powdery at all and leaves it feeling like actual hair instead of straw.

And last but not least I have recently been loving this Micellar water from B. Pure, its not like any other Micellar water I have used before, it really cleanses your face and dissolves and make-up. I usually use it before I apply my make-up in the morning, that way I gets rid of any oil and tough mascara, it also mattifies my face which helps when applying primer and foundation.

Feel free to make any suggestions for other blog posts you want me to write.
