Drugstore haul | Spring 2015

Hi Guys,

Over the past month there have been a lot of new products added to our high street/drug store shops. (by high-street/drugstore shops I means Boots and Superdrug) so as you can imagine I have been acquiring quite the collection of new and old'er products. So I thought I'd share with you what I brought!

Most for these products I haven't tried yet. so I cant say whether or not I liked them, but for the ones I have tried I will briefly talk about.

Bold Metals Collection by Real Techniques 301 Flat Contour.
£22
I personally don't think its worth that amount of money at all. not very good at contouring, but for applying foundation it is quite good.

Soap and Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush - Hot Chocolate
£8.00

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter
£9.95
Really good, and easily bendable.

Bourjois Poudre de Riz de Java
£9.99
Perfect for that healthy spring glow.

Barry M Chisel Cheek Contour Kit
£6.49

Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick -107
£5.49

L'oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Primer
£7.99

Maybelline Coloursensational Elixir lip - Signature Scarlett 505
£6.99

SEVENTEEN Smoulder Gel Eyeliner.
£3.99
One of the best eye-liners I own!

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation
£8.99
It is really good, left with a satin smooth finish. But some of it gets wasted because it is so runny it gets everywhere.

Tanya Burr I Found Nemo Lip Gloss
£6.99

MUA Eyeshadow Palette Undress Me Too
£4.00

Revlon Colourstay Concealer
£6.99
Really good coverage.

Bourjois Paris Happy Light Matte Serum Primer.
£10.99
very nice to apply, and lasts all day.

Feel free to make any suggestions for other blog posts you want me to write or any products you would suggest from the drug stores.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow Review

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

So everyone has been raving about the Maybelline colour tattoo eye-shadow for a while now, so I thought I’d give them a go and see what all the fuss is about. And I can completely see why everyone loves them! Now I'm not a cream make-up person, but I have to say these cream eye-shadow are beautiful. They apply amazing, great range of colours, great pigmentation and they last a long long time, what more could you want from an eye-shadow. They are only £4.99

So the first one I tried is a pinkie, rose gold colour. It’s quite a subtle colour, but it’s a perfect subtle colour. I reckon you could you could build it more if you wanted. its for those days where you don't want anything to bold or dramatic just a simple shadow with a bit of shimmer.
65 - Pink Gold

Now this one is my least favourite of the 4 I brought purely because it didn't apply as nicely as the others, it was a bit too patchy for my liking (as you can probably see in the photo), but maybe that’s how its suppose to apply. Don’t get me wrong it is still an amazing colour; I don’t own a gold eye-shadow quite like it. However I am still going to continue to wear it just maybe not on its own, I’ll probably have a base underneath it as well.
75 - 24k Gold

This eye-shadow is a matte grey/brown colour, and is really good as a base for darker browns powder eye-shadow. It’s a bit harder to apply because it’s a tad more solid than the other shimmery colours. But I guess you could still use it as your main colour, depending on the look you wanted. Over all it’s a good colour

40 – Permanent Taupe

Saving the best one till last, this one if by far my favourite one. It’s a dark bronzy colour. I can’t fault this particular one. I love the colour because you can have it as it is and it’ll look stunning or you can add to it and it look stunning. So far I've worn this as my everyday colour too school because it’s so quick to apply and look amazing.

35 – On and on Bronze
