My Everyday Eyebrow

Hi Guys,

So as you can probably see today's post is on my everyday eyebrows. Now I have been anticipating writing this for a while now, I just wasn't sure if I was happy enough with the how I do my brows to write a blog post on them. But now the time has come, I have finally found a way that I am comfortable with (for the time being), so I am going to share with you guys how I do it.

To me, the eyebrows can make or break your make-up look, and it is a personal pet hate with people either don't take enough care in their eyebrows or over do it e.g. slugs.
But in no way shape or form am I saying that I have the best eyebrows ever, because I know I don't! I'm just stating my personal opinion, in that people should take care of their eyebrows.

(Before and After)

(here are the products/tools I use)

So firstly I use the 'brow 2' powder in the medium - Milani - brow fix kit. Just to fill them and make them look a bit fuller/thicker. Surprisingly this colour looks too light for my eyebrows, but when I put it on, its almost the exact colour. The angled brush it comes with may look small but it is actually prefect for filling in brows. They come with mini tweezers which I haven't yet used, but from the look of them they are probably quite good. lastly on to the highlighter, its isn't the most amazing highlighter ever, but if your on the go, it'll do I guess. Its such a cute little compact set, I love it.

You can purchase the Brow Fix here.

After I've filled it all in, i just go through with the soap and glory brow tint and precision liner just to fill in any gaps and straighten up any edges with the fine liner end. then I will brush through my brows with any spoolie brush, this will help to make them look more natural and even, other wise they will look really fake.
Some people go over with a clear or coloured gel, just to set everything in place, I personally don't think it does much, but you may find that it works for you. Its all about experimenting.

So lets talk about shaping your eyebrows. Now I have been plucking my eyebrows for a long time now. At some points it has gotten out of control, and I've been left with hardly any brows. Purely because I made the mistake of plucking mine myself instead of seeking professional help.
Like I've said previously eye brows are important, but if you are happy with the way your natural brow is, then leave it, this post wont apply to you. Not everyone has to draw or shape them, because you may have been blessed with the prefect set of brows.
However if you aren't happy with your eyebrows then there are a million products out their that can help you find a way that you are happy and comfortable with.  I am just offering up a suggestion.

'Remember eyebrows are suppose to be sisters, not twins!'

And for any of the Pretty Little Liars fans out there, the big 'A' reveal, did not see that one coming. Actually cannot wait for season 6!!

Feel free to make any suggestions for other blog posts you want me to write or product you recommend for the 'perfect' brow!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow Review

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

So everyone has been raving about the Maybelline colour tattoo eye-shadow for a while now, so I thought I’d give them a go and see what all the fuss is about. And I can completely see why everyone loves them! Now I'm not a cream make-up person, but I have to say these cream eye-shadow are beautiful. They apply amazing, great range of colours, great pigmentation and they last a long long time, what more could you want from an eye-shadow. They are only £4.99

So the first one I tried is a pinkie, rose gold colour. It’s quite a subtle colour, but it’s a perfect subtle colour. I reckon you could you could build it more if you wanted. its for those days where you don't want anything to bold or dramatic just a simple shadow with a bit of shimmer.
65 - Pink Gold

Now this one is my least favourite of the 4 I brought purely because it didn't apply as nicely as the others, it was a bit too patchy for my liking (as you can probably see in the photo), but maybe that’s how its suppose to apply. Don’t get me wrong it is still an amazing colour; I don’t own a gold eye-shadow quite like it. However I am still going to continue to wear it just maybe not on its own, I’ll probably have a base underneath it as well.
75 - 24k Gold

This eye-shadow is a matte grey/brown colour, and is really good as a base for darker browns powder eye-shadow. It’s a bit harder to apply because it’s a tad more solid than the other shimmery colours. But I guess you could still use it as your main colour, depending on the look you wanted. Over all it’s a good colour

40 – Permanent Taupe

Saving the best one till last, this one if by far my favourite one. It’s a dark bronzy colour. I can’t fault this particular one. I love the colour because you can have it as it is and it’ll look stunning or you can add to it and it look stunning. So far I've worn this as my everyday colour too school because it’s so quick to apply and look amazing.

35 – On and on Bronze
