So recently my family and I went to the Warner brothers studio tour in London, as a family day out. I have been wanting to go there for a long time, and as it was Easter holidays dad booked us some tickets. first we went to St Albans and had a look around a few shops in the centre. I didn't take any photos as there wasn't anything particularly special that was photo worthy.
So when you get the the Harry Potter studios, it will look like this from the entrance. On the outside of the 2 buildings it has massive pictures of scenes from the films around the walls.as well as these 3 chess pieces which I believe was from the philosophers stone film.
It was quite surreal because everything in the studio tour is the real deal stuff. Everything you see was used, worn and held but the actors and actresses of Harry Potter. There was so much to see and take in, it was a bit overwhelming.
It was weird to thin that you are standing in a room that at one point in time Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter were once stood in.
We had the audio guides, which we so insightful, they went into detail about the meanings behind some scenes, how the kids were educated whilst on set, and interviews from cast members.
It really makes you think about how much detail goes into making a single film, let alone 8 of them! All of the costumes, props, sets and attention to detail. But more importantly, all the behind the scenes action like the art work, electronics and CGI effects. Its mind blowing.

The first 'official' room you go into is the room that was used to film the school dining room area, (I don't no the technical term for it.) it has the costumes of all the teachers and the uniforms of all 4 houses and their developments over the years.
I didn't take that many photos, because the lighting wasn't that great and there were so many people around, you could really get a decent picture without someone's head of foot poking in the shot. so you'll just have to trust me when I say, this is a day out your should seriously consider taking, even if your not a massive obsessive harry potter fan - like me, you'll still enjoy it.
This is Diagon Alley, as I'm sure most of you recognised. Its actually a hell of a lot prettier than the camera is showing off. and of course at the end of the alley you have the infamous Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes shop, which is the brightest and most colourful of all the shops.
Then after having a glass of Butter Beer, (which is quite nice I have to admit) you move onto the out side area which has the Knight bus, Privet Drive and the wooden/covered bridge. Which as you can imagine was very busy!
This model is the last thing you'll see on the tour, and honest to god it is so beautiful, its actually annoying how the camera doesn't do the castle justice. But it is really magnification, and hard to imagine how much effort went into building it.
I strongly the harry potter studio tour, to anyone and everyone. I think even my sister enjoyed it, and she's very hard to please nowadays.
Feel free to make any suggestions for other blog posts you want me to write.
