Natural Nudes

Hi Guys,

So I thought for this weeks post I have done an overview of my personal favourite nude lipsticks, I think this post could be really helpful over the summer months because a nude lip is always a good option especially when your wearing bright summery colours. Hopefully this will be the first part of a 3 part blog post series, I will try and do a pink and a red lipstick collection over the next few Months (If this one goes well).

The first one is an old time favourite if mine, now I started shopping with Avon when I first started experimenting with make-up as have most of you probably. Now I cannot for the life of me remember what range this is from but the packaging is pretty unique so it cant be that hard to miss in the catalogue (if they still sell it that it)
It is a simple subtle nude, nothing too special about it. I guess is one of those 'your lips but better' shades. Always handy to have around.
Avon - chic nude

This next one is an all time favourite for a lot of people, because it has been sold out for a good couple of months and took me a long time to find it. however the wait was worth it, and I cant defiantly say it is one of my most 'go to' lipsticks ever and it is suck a staple colour to have in any collection.
For those of you who haven't seen or swatches velvet teddy, it is a matte nude/brown shade .
Mac - velvet teddy

Next up is another mac lipstick, this time it a much darker brown nude colour, with a hint of red I think.
I love this lipstick especially when I have not much going on with the rest of my make-up, it really pulls the look together.
Mac - Twig

This lipstick from Saint Laurent is defiantly a prize possession of mine. Can we just take a minute to appreciate the packaging on this, its so beautiful! But obviously I didn't just buy this lipstick for the packaging (well, it wasn't the entire reason anyway) I actually really like the lipstick itself, its very creamy/velvety, its kinda tastes like watermelon, and gives you the subtle hint of colour that can be really pretty during those hot summer days.
Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte 1

I am a massive fan of Kiko, so obviously there had to be a Kiko lipstick in here somewhere. Now this a very pale nude colour, I tend to use this when I'm not sure what to put on my lips and it don't have much colour but adds a gorgeous shine to them.
Kiko - 901

This one is a real bargin from make-up revolution because it was only £1! I would say it is a very similar colour to twig from mac, the only difference is that is is a bit more sheer. Apart from that its almost spot on, and I love it.
Makeup Revolution - Treat

Next up is another classics of mine, the Rimmel London 'Kate Moss' collection have some of the most amazing red drug store lipsticks around. And this is defiantly up to the standards of them. its defiantly got a slight pink tone running through it, but that's what makes it that bit different from all the other nudes that I love so much.
Rimmel london - kate 08

This mac lipstick was my first ever mac product, and its is such a cute nude colour, it is still up there with some of my favourite mac lipsticks. it is very similar to the Saint Laurent lipstick (as mentioned previously) However it is slightly more thicker if that's even possible of a lipstick?
Mac - Angel

This lip gloss/liquid lipstick from L'oreal is a new find of mine and already I think it is so fricking prefect I cannot get enough of it, it tastes so nice, smells of nice, lasts a long time, and looks so flawless.
its go little flecks of shimmer in it so that is has this high shine finish, which looks amazing in the sunlight. the only problem I have with it its that it doesn't have the name of the rand on it so I have no idea what to call it. So I'm sorry for that but other than that I love it.
L'oreal - 500 molto mauve

And last but not least its the Maybelline colour drama intense velvet lip pencil. it is a matte shade, and a bit more pink than I originally thought it was going to be, but still a very nice simple lip colour, again very nice for this season.
Maybelline - 140 minimalistic

...............

Feel free to comment below some of your favourite nude lipsticks, as I am always open to trying new products.

My 2015 Summer Bucket List

Hi Guys,

Ok, so this blog post is a little different from my usual beauty related posts, but as its getting closer to the summer holidays (in the UK), I though it could be both relevant and useful.
Now love to keep lists, people who know me would probably say that keeping/making lists is an obsession of mine, which has both good and bad qualities to it.
One list I have had for a long long time now is my bucket list. I think that keeping a bucket list is a great way to get out there and do things you wouldn't necessarily do, but its also its a cute way to look back in years to come of everything you have accomplished.

So, unlike the average person, I have 2 bucket lists. One is a short term list, which contains a list of things I would like to accomplish within a year or a summer. Whereas my long term bucket lists, contains a list of things I would like to accomplish over my life time (which has more personal targets on).
This post is focusing on the short term side of my bucket list. There are 2 reasons as to why I'm writing this post, the first being to make a public list of things I want to achieve over the summer. But also to inspire and challenge you guys to go out and make a summer bucket list of your own and hopefully make some memories as well.

*Some of theses aren't particularly summer related, but they are things I either haven't done yet or things that I enjoy doing and need to make more time for.*

My 2015 summer bucket list

Have a cute picnic in a park.

Stargaze

Watch either the Sun Rise or Sun Set.

Have a day dedicated to Netflix.

Go to London dungeons #lifetimegoal

Have a spa day

Long family weekend away

I hope theses give you guys some great ideas for your summer holidays, and please comment below with some of your own ideas.

Thanks for Reading.

June Favourites | 2015

Hi Guys,

I don't think these favourite posts need an introduction any more, I'm assuming you no how this goes by now!
So lets hop right into it...

I'll start with the non-beauty related bits first. so as you've probably guessed by now that I am a huge lover of Netflix, and if you are too you will probably no that June has been a crazy month for Netflix.
this is because of two reason, season 3 of orange is the new black (OITNB) is back, and also season 6 of pretty little liars (PLL) is back!

I'll start with OITNB, (but don't worry no spoilers). It released on Netflix of the 12th of June, with 13 episodes. and as you can imagine it really didn't take me that long to watch them.
Season 3 was definably up to the standards of the last 2 seasons, as it was so gripping the whole way through. However it was a little bit confusing as the didn't answer all the questions I was hoping they would, for example they borough in new characters and didn't explain why they were in prison, they also didn't finish/explain some of the minor story's that were going on throughout. But it was still amazing never the less.

Linking with OITNB, I now have a favourite actress/celebrity. Its Ruby Rose, who plays 'Stella' in OITNB. and I along with every other person who has season 3 has fallen in love with he and her character. She is a beautiful woman and is very talented.

...................

Next up is obviously PLL, how could I not include this in a favourites video. I am absolutely undeniably hooked in this TV series. And quite frankly I never want it to end.
As each season goes on it gets creepy, weirder, darker and more interesting, its amazing. And I no for a fact that the majority of my school is hooked just by reading my twitter on a Wednesday evening, so I cant even imagine how many others around the country are as-well.

...............

So for a while now I have wanted my tragus pierced, I'd given it alot of though, researched the best place to get it done and all of that shizzel. But one day I just decided to pluck up the courage to get it done. And do you no what, I am so glade I did it, because I absolutely love it. Now of those of you who want to know how much it hurt, I'm honest I defiantly hurt more that when you get your lobe's pierced, but I didn't hurt as much as I though it did. But everyone experiences pain at different levels, so I guess I was just lucky.

.................

This one is definitely my ultimate favourite of the month. I have quite often gravitated back towards red hair, ever since I started putting dye on my hair. And I guess the main reason I like having red hair is because I feel more confident and more me with red hair. Now I have to admit this isn't the best/healthiest thing I could have done for my hair, but never the less, I love it.
The only problem now is maintaining it...

.................

Now on to some sctual beauty products. this first one is my new baby, and it was love at first sight.
after i finisghed my exams last month i decided to treat myself to something that I have been wanting for a while... my Chanel Lipstick - Rouge Coco - 438 Suzanna. It is a gorgeous red/brown colour with an amazing shine to it and is prefect for all year round.

..............

Next is the Liz Earl Face Cleanser, this has been raved about so much in the beauty world, I figured I will just have to try it out for myself. and I cant imagine removing my make-up with anything else anymore, its fabulous at breaking own ever tiny bit of make-up from your face, and then leaves it feeling the smoothest its ever been.

...............

Last but not least I have re-discovered my Bobbi Brown Foundation in sand 2. it has been getting particularly hot in England these last couple of weeks and my usual foundation just wasn't cutting it any more it felt to heavy on my face. so I have been trying a few ones out, and it turns out this one is prefect. It feels so natural on my face and its the prefect colour for me now that I have a slight tan.

.................

Feel free to make any suggestions for other blog posts you want me to write.
