KIKO long lasting stick eyeshadow review

Hi Guys, its Autumn.

KIKO isn't exactly a well known brand, it doesn't get talked about that much in the beauty world, in my opinion it is well under rated! I love this brand. they do such high quality make-up at such a low cost, its brilliant.
So this will probably be the first of many KIKO product reviews.
One of their best products is their long lasting stick eye-shadows, not just because they do an amazing range of pigmented colours but because they really are long lasting (without a eyelid primer!!) I've never owned such a long lasting eye-shadow. ever!

So the first one I brought was this dark shimmer brown colour. In 39 (KIKOs products don't have names, they have numbers) and as you can see its such a gorgeous colour.

The second one I brought was this light gold/champagne colour. In 38. This colour would be perfect as a base, because you could easily build this up.

Each eye-shadow stick is £6.90.

Favourite Hair Care Products.

Hi Guys, its Autumn.

So for today's post I thought I’d share with you my favourite hair care products. Since its winter at the hair becomes a little more dry than usual due to all the cold weather. I tend to change up my hair care products depending on the season or the weather were having that month.

This first product I tend to keep the same throughout the year purely because I need a good heat protector all year round and since I'm happy with this one, I may as well stick with it. Now most of you will know to use heat protector if you use any heat on your hair, because it stops it from getting damaged. There is no particular reason why I use ‘TRESemme’; I guess I've just never had a problem with the brand. So I spray mine all over, after I've gotten out of the shower and towel dried my hair so that it’s still damp, this way the heat protector can sink into your hair.

My second hair care product is the Luxe oil from 'Wella'. I don't use this product as much as I use to but it is definitely still my go-to oil. My hair just feels healthier, stronger and smother once I've put this into the ends of my hair. You can put this is when your hair is wet or dry, it doesn't really matter.

So this next product is similar to the oil, but it’s in a mist. The 'got2b' oil-licious dry oil mist is amazing for days when your hair decides to be a pain. It tames frizz, gives it a natural shine and smooth’s out any problems. I use this once I've straightened/curled my hair and it needs to have a little bit of life put back into it.

Hairspray, every girl has it. I have the 'TRESemme' salon finish - extra hold can. And like I've said before I've never had a problem with the brand, so I'm more likely to go for them over any other brand simply because I know there stuff works.

Lastly we have the 'herbal essences' dry shampoo. Now I go through I tone of dry shampoo each year, because I hate the look and the feel of greasy hair. Now some may ask, ‘‘Well why don't you just was your hair then?'' and the simple answer to that is, washing your hair every day is bad for your hair, it removes all the natural oil from your hair. I would suggest washing it 3 times a week (a little grease isn't Gunna kill you) and well I guess that's why they invented dry shampoo. There are lodes of different types of dry shampoo, volumizing, scented, coloured, texturizing. And you've just gotta find one that suits you.

Bobbi brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation review.

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

SURPRISE!! I have decided to start uploading 2 blog posts a week from now on, Mondays as usual but also Thursday as well now. Purely because I'm enjoying writing these blog posts more than I thought I would, and also I've gotten such good feedback from previous posts, I thought I'd give you guys some more. Thank you for all of your support so far guys, it really means alot.

So I've been trying this foundation out for a while now, and I've come to the conclusion that its bloody amazing. it does exactly what it says on the bottle, its long wearing (like really long wearing) it leaves a even finish, and if you have oily skin like me then its perfect for that too.
This foundation is honestly one of the best foundations I own, granted I don't own a lot of high end foundation to compare it too, but as expected it out does all of the drugstore foundations.  It lasts all day without going oily or rubbing off, the only way to describe it is heaven on your face! I couldn't fault this product.

Its a good medium coverage I would say, its buildable, and so beautiful to blend.
Mine is in sand 2, if any of you were interested.

TMI tag!

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

So for this week’s post I thought I'd do another tag, they are fun to write and I guess it just lets you guys know that an actual human and not just a computer screen.

1.What are you wearing?
Today I am wearing my favourite black pair of jeans from new look, a plain grey hoodie from boohoo with a cropped denim jacket from new look, ankle converse and a navy jack wills t-shirt.

 2: Ever been in love?

Umm don't think so, I've never had a serious relationship. so I guess the answer is no.

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?

Not really, like I said previous I've never really had a serious relationship, so the break ups weren't that bad.

 4: How tall are you?

I am 5.1 now it may sound like a bad thing, but being small does have its perks. For example you always win when it comes to hide and seek.

5:Any tattoos?

Nope no tattoos. I’m still 17.

6:Any piercings?

Yes, I’ve got my lobes done and my second. I would possibly like a couple more but I don’t want my ears to look like a scrap yard. (no offence, it’s my personal opinion.)

7:OTP?
It has to be Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory. they are one of the cutest couple on the internet.

8:Favourite show?
Well for those of you that know me will know that I'm all about pretty little liars! Oh my word. So so so gripping. I watched all of the ones that are on Netflix within 2 weeks I think. Slightly addicted not gunna lie.

9: Favourite bands?

I’m not really into bands as such, actually thinking about it I don’t really have favourites when it comes to music. Because I rarely find that I like a whole album of an artist. But if  had to say a band that I like most of their music (at this moment in time) it would have to be imagine dragons.

10: Something you miss?

There isn't anything that I would say I particularly miss.

11: Favourite song?
Right now I am listening to Selena Gomez – the heart wants what it wants. It’s such a beautiful song and I realise it’s not the latest song, but I not that fussed with the latest top 40 any more.

12: How old are you?

I am 17, 18 in September, woop woop.

13: Zodiac sign?

I'm a Libra

14: Quality you look for in a partner?
For starters the guy has to be taller than me, that’s a must. I'm not a fussy person when it comes to looks, I don’t think I have a type, as long as they are funny and  have a nice personality.

 15: Favourite Quote?

I'm not the biggest fan of motivational quotes, of soppy love quotes, Because everyone seems to be saying them nowadays and now there’s to many to choose from. But if I had to pick on it will defiantly have to be from the variety of short people quotes.

‘’short people: god only lets things grow until there perfect, some of us didn't take as long as others’’

 16: Favourite actor?
This may not come as a surprise to some of you, but Russell brand (obviously) but also Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham carter and Leonardo DiCaprio.  there are others, but these are the ones that I can remember of the top of my head.

 17: Favourite colour?

Any shade of Purple or mint green.

 18: Loud music or soft?

Depends on what mood I'm in to be honest.

19: How long does it take you to shower?
About 20 minutes I think, nowhere near as long as my little sister.

20: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

Depending on where I did my hair the night before and home much make-up I want to apply anywhere between an hour and 2 hours. Unless I'm being rushed then 30 minutes at a push.

21: Ever been in a physical fight?

Nope, not to sound sexist but I'm definably a girly girl and I dread the thought of a physical fight.

22: Things that you don't look for in a partner?
Guys who have Facial piercing and bad hygiene, by also guys who don’t care how they look or dress e.g. baggy trousers.

 23: Fears?

Clowns/dolls and masks!!!

24: Last thing that made you cry?

As silly as it sounds, the last thing that made me cry was school work. It’s made me cry quite a few time, mainly because I get stressed quite easily and I don’t not how to deal with stress. But when you have a huge pile of school work, amongst other things going on, it inevitably ends up in an awful mess.

25: Meaning behind your blog Name?

Well autumn is my middle name, and if I'm honest, it’s quite a nice middle name. I'm not sure why I picked wonderland, I think I just sounds nice.

 26: Last book you read?

I don’t really read… at all. But I have read parts of books so the last book I started to read was the Russell brand revolution book. I don’t really have the attention span to finish a book, which by the way I’m not proud of.

27: The book you’re currently reading?

I’m not reading a book, like I said before I’m not a massive reader.

 28: Last show you watched?

Vampire diary’s, gotta love the Salvatore brothers.

29: Last person you talked to?
Cakebread! My ferret loving friend.

30: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
My mother

 31: Favourite food?

Ben and jerry’s ice-cream and Texas pizza and any garlic bread!  Amazeballs

32: Place you want to visit?

America mainly to visit my Auntie and her family. But also Japan, Australia, Cuba, Hawaii, but I’d just love to travel in general.

 33: Last place you were?

My kitchen

34: Last time you were insulted?

Can’t remember, probably my sister. If any of you have younger siblings you know how much they like to get on your nerves.

 35: Favourite flavour of sweet?

Strawberry probably.

36: What instruments do you play?

I don’t play any instruments at the moment, but when I was in lower/middle school I use to play piano.

 37: Favourite piece of jewellery?

My Pandora bracelet. I've had it since I was 13, which seams a long time ago now. But I adore it, I wear it everywhere and each charm I have has a little meaning or memory.

 38: Last sport you played?

Ha, I don’t play sports, I haven’t done in a long long time.

 39: Last song you sang?
Taylor swift – blank space, it’s such a catchy tune!

40: Last time you hung out with anyone?

I'm not sure if I'd call it 'hanging' but the Friday that just gone I was at school with my friends.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow Review

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

So everyone has been raving about the Maybelline colour tattoo eye-shadow for a while now, so I thought I’d give them a go and see what all the fuss is about. And I can completely see why everyone loves them! Now I'm not a cream make-up person, but I have to say these cream eye-shadow are beautiful. They apply amazing, great range of colours, great pigmentation and they last a long long time, what more could you want from an eye-shadow. They are only £4.99

So the first one I tried is a pinkie, rose gold colour. It’s quite a subtle colour, but it’s a perfect subtle colour. I reckon you could you could build it more if you wanted. its for those days where you don't want anything to bold or dramatic just a simple shadow with a bit of shimmer.
65 - Pink Gold

Now this one is my least favourite of the 4 I brought purely because it didn't apply as nicely as the others, it was a bit too patchy for my liking (as you can probably see in the photo), but maybe that’s how its suppose to apply. Don’t get me wrong it is still an amazing colour; I don’t own a gold eye-shadow quite like it. However I am still going to continue to wear it just maybe not on its own, I’ll probably have a base underneath it as well.
75 - 24k Gold

This eye-shadow is a matte grey/brown colour, and is really good as a base for darker browns powder eye-shadow. It’s a bit harder to apply because it’s a tad more solid than the other shimmery colours. But I guess you could still use it as your main colour, depending on the look you wanted. Over all it’s a good colour

40 – Permanent Taupe

Saving the best one till last, this one if by far my favourite one. It’s a dark bronzy colour. I can’t fault this particular one. I love the colour because you can have it as it is and it’ll look stunning or you can add to it and it look stunning. So far I've worn this as my everyday colour too school because it’s so quick to apply and look amazing.

35 – On and on Bronze

January Favourites

Hi Guys, its Autumn,

So from now on the first Monday of each month is going to be a monthly favourites post. Which is where I share with you guys what my favourite products are for that particular month. It could range from hair care to a good series that I've been watching that month.

So with out furtherado lets get on with it.

So through out January I have been loving candles, but in particular this candle from Baylis and Harding, in the sent sugar cane, basil and lime. its so subtle yet gorgeous. relaxing in the evenings with a few candles, Netflix and a hot chocolate = perfection.

So on the topic of relaxing in the evening, I think most people would agree with me when I say no evening is complete without Netflix. This month Netflix uploaded all of the Pretty Little Liar episodes, which exited me as I've heard so much about them. but because the series is still going on over in the US, every Wednesday they uplode the latests episode. so that we can still keep up.
if you think that PPL is some silly girly series, then you are completely wrong. its not, its a murder mystery with a twist. its utterly gripping. and I would highly recommend it for both girls and boys.

On to hair care, now I try to mix up my shampoo and conditioner every couple of weeks because then you hair doesn't have a chance to get bored. so as you can imagine I've tried quite a few shampoos and conditioners in my life time, and none of them have wowed me as much as the Dove hair therapy shampoo and conditioner. it is suppose to 'reconstruct hair from the inside' now I'm no hair specialist so i don't actually know if it is doing what is says it should do, but i do know that it makes my hair feel stronger, look better and feel nicer. so over all i would suggest this to anyone who needs to look after their hair a little better.

I'm not one for moisturisers purely because I have really oily skin, well I mean I use to, recently my forehead has gotten really dry for some unknown reason. So I decided to use the body shop Vitamin E moisturise in the morning and the vitamin E mist in the evening which I've had for a while but never used it. It worked, not only do I not have a dry forehead but I also don't have oily skin any more, bizarre - but I'm not going to complain.

Onto make-up, the brand Revlon is a new found favourite of mine. and I have to say the foundation is one of the best drugstore foundation I've tried so far. Its got amazing coverage, id say medium to heavy coverage (depending how much you apply), the do one for oily skin which is the one I've got and also one for normal/dry skin. so its perfect for everyone. its blends beautifully. However it doesn't come with a pump which is the only down fall but apart from that, its just an all round really good product.
There is no explanation as to why I've been loving this Topshop lipstick quite so much this month, its just been my got to lippy. Theses noting special about Topshop lipsticks, in my opinion. but for whatever reason, I've been loving this lipstick this month. Its in the colour innocent, for any of you who were wondering.

So for fashion favourites, its defiantly been statement rings this month. I cant get enough of them. any shape, style or colour. I just thing that they bring a little something to any outfit, it an make it look classier or edgier or just more fun.

This was given to me by a friend of my mums, to try out. she knows I'm into my fake tan, and she says this is one of the best home fake tans she's ever used And she is right, it is officially my favourite fake tan. I have used it quite allot through January, which many people may thing is weird to wear fake tan in winter, but I disagree, I think that everyone should have a healthy tan all year round (even if it is fake). it is a gradual tan, that you lave on and then was off, so its one on of those which will drip of when you go near water. its got a nice smell to it which many fake tans don't have, and its a lovely creamy moisturiser at the same time. The packaging claims to ''dissimulate cellulite with every application'' now I'm not 100% sure if it does that, but even if it doesn't its still bloody good fake tan.
